"Children at War"

I recently finished an article called "Children at War" this article is mostly about the author (P.W. singer explaining who child soldiers are, and what countries thy comes from. in the beginning P.W. singer explains what a young boy says, " they killed my mother and father in front of my eyes. I was 10 years old. They took me with them." also they say how boys aren’t the only children taken they take girls too, but they're used for sexual abuse, and rape. These details support the main idea of child soldiers are abducted, are forced to be soldiers, and they also take the girls too.

The author of "Children at War" wants you feel discussed and shocked. The author does this by talking about girls and how they're used for sexual abuse, and mentioning the amount of kids that are child soldiers, which is 30,000. They also do this by telling you “captured al Qaeda training videos reveal young boys receiving instruction in the manufacture of bombs and the setting of explosive booby traps.” He also wrote “have recruited children as young as 13 to be suicide bombers and children as young as 11 to smuggle explosives and weapons” this makes people feel bad for the boys who have to do that.

This article made me feel shocked, but I can tell that it's been manipulated. It’s been manipulated because it tells you nothing about the other side, or the argument of the other side. I would like to know more and bout the other sides argument because they deserve a chance to explain them self’s.
